Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, help

I got a Boss ds-1 distortion pedal off ebay but it came with no power adapter!

I've got a few adapters laying around but it doesn't say what MA it requires. I know its 9v but I don't want to mess it up by giving it the wrong amount of amps!

Does anybody own one and can tell me what MA the power adapter is?

Cheers for the help but I'm UK - we use 240 volts.

I already have loads of old PSU's I'm just trying to find which MA to use!

if the voltage is correct, the device under power will only draw the current (amperes, milli-amps) that it needs...
