Did you get the voicemail I left you during the game after Arod's 2nd bomb?

He really is just amazing right now. I don't know how long he can stay this hot....but it's just ridiculous. Schilling did not have his best stuff tonight...the first few innings there were like 4-5 outs that were at the back of the warning track...another few feet they would have been wall balls or HRs.

Why on earth would you be mad at Torre when it was Mariano Rivera who sucked? With some suckage help from Myers and Vizcaino. Pettitte starts to lose it in the 7th and Proctor shuts it down. Good move. Start the 8th with the lefty specialist who had been great so far to face the biggest lefty threat. Good move, bad result. Vizcaino isn't so hot either and Mariano absolutely flat out fails when the game is on the line. I don't want to hear one word of bullshit that Mariano can't pitch in the 8th inning. The game was clearly on the line and I think that this is something managers should go back to. Bring in the ace regardless of inning to put out the fire. Unfortunately Rivera was awful. We saw this April stuff with him last year too.
