where can i find baseball footage?
    #6813325 -

does anyone have any recorded games of old timers like nolan ryan, sandy koufax, phil neikro, or maybe maddux/glavine/smoltz? can you suggest some places where i might be able to get these recorded games other than MLB?

MLB is pretty hard-core about their copyrights...Good luck, and if you find a place, I'd like to hear about it...

You could just watch the Braves VS Mets game on 4/23. That would knock out Smotlz and Glavine.

I've purchased several from the MLB website. They are pretty cheap. Where to get them for free though, I don't know.

I've gotten all kinds of old playoff games that were complete. I think that they were 3 bucks each, perhaps 4. It's been a couple of years since I bought any though.

That's where you need to go. Unfortunately right now it appears to be unavailable due to an upgrade of some sort.

With MLB tv subscription you can watch a lot of these games without actually being able to download them. I'm currently watching a game between the Phillies and Cubs from May 1979 in which the final score was 23-22.
