How come we've never done this?

We should have Shroomery awards. ALL postive catagories, no "biggest fag" or "worst poster", nothing that would encourage childish rivalries here. 

What does everyone think about this?

Good idea....but who is acutally going to organize all of it? Will there be nominations and then a poll? Maybe a one-time forum for this idea is in order?

I think it would be ok to have those awards, just don't include them in the big annual television extravaganza. Hold them in a separate building prior to the televised "Shroomies." Maybe we could announce them during the "bumbers" before and after commercial breaks. Just a thought...

PS: Who won the bid to televise this year? It?s not frickin? ABC again, is it?

why cant we just do the shroomuies on our own. have awards for every week for like "best poster" "worst poster" "thread of the year" "most informative tek". each one will be put up for nomination and then at the end of the week the nominations get put up for a vote, the next night the winner is announced! it would be awesome.
