movies/grindhouse wtf

man that movie was out 1 week and its gone already wtf i was gunna see that shit when after i wake up....but its no longer playing

then i see the movie shooter is already gone too and i seen that movie last weekend and it kicked ass.....yet the movie 300, and wild hogs is still fucking player WTF

this shit is pisses me off hardcore....im stuck having to watch bruce willis having an affair or a big t-rex with a big head and small hands tomorrow.....GOD HELP ME.

Has Hollywood failed to release lame movie after lame movie for the past few years? I think not. Grindhouse falls into that category.

Well,  I can't wait to see Pan's Labyrinth. I flipped through it a bit after downloading and it looks awesome. Seems like it will be a great story.

From what I understand the problem with Grindhouse was the length... there wasn't too many people who wanted to sit through it. They are splitting it up into two separate movies and re-releasing them. It's all about the $$ in this case.

I downloaded both parts of the Grindhouse movie. I got about 45 minutes into the first one and turned it off. I thought about deleting it but I figured I'd give it one more chance. It was pretty lame with really bad acting.

Maybe it's because I was drunk? :shrug:

No, it's because it's an homage to Grindhouse movies, which pretty much exclusively have bad acting. This movie is what it is. A bunch of cool scenes, bad acting etc...

Another problem is that most people just didn't "get" Grindhouse. Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez have both explicitly stated that they made the films for fans of old school grindhouse cinema like myself.

Grindhouse was fucking great. I don't go to the theater often, but I can't remember the last time I was that entertained by a movie. I liked both of the movies, but Tarantino's stole the show.

God, Im an aquateen fan but the movie was fucking TERRIBLE.

Each episode is 10 minutes long...and there is usually a few minutes worth of GOOD material....but this movie was torture.

Yea it was way entertaining. Everyone in the theater was yelling shit at the screen, making loud jokes about the acting or plot. Also everyone was pretty smashed. I however thought the Tarantino one missed its mark, it was really slow in the beginning with very stereotypical Tarantino dialog. I mean do we need another black person who is all like, 'nigga please' or, 'white bitch please' or 'insert other 70's black phrase'. It just seemed old to me. The car chase was bangin though

I think the movies will do better if released seperately. They were both good, but I could not pay attention to the damn dialogue (which constitutes WAY too much of the movie if you ask me...like I give a shit about what they have to say?) in Death Proof. I don't know why the black chick from rent got credit as the other main female character. Her role didn't seem like anything special.

No man that is the point of the movie/s.. This is what people are not getting. It's taking you back to the 70s - 80s exploitation film (B Horrors) experience.. Do people expect an oscar winner when it's supposed to be a cheesy movie/s? Tarantino obviously his job better than Rodriguez because more people are saying that his flick was worse. :rofl:
