Quentin Tarantino and Sofia Coppola - Pot-Smoking Love Monkeys

I just read this over on High Times and thought it was funny. All of the clocks in Pulp Fiction are set at 4:20. Years later, Sofia Coppola makes Lost in Translation, and in that movie all of the clocks are set at 4:20. And right when Lost in Translation was coming out, she filed for divorce from Spike Jonze and started dating long-time friend Quentin Tarantino.

I bet they get such good bud.

i read this thing about all the clocks being set on 4:20 a long while back, and i watched pulp fiction..NONE of the clocks were set to 4:20 and i paid specific attention to this detail.  maybe blockbuster edited out the 4:20 and replaced it with a different time on each of the clocks?  lol i doubt it but i think that's just a myth about them all being 4:20.  either that or i was really fucked up while watching it  :crazy2:

Taken directly from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110912/trivia so apparently in at least one scene this statement about 4:20 rings true..

There is a persistent myth that that all the clocks in the movie are set to 4:20 (although, certainly all the clocks on the wall in the pawn shop are set to 4:20). However, in at least two scenes it is obvious that this is not the case. In the "Bonnie Situation" while Jimmy, Vince and Jules are drinking coffee in the kitchen, the clock clearly reads 8:15. Secondly, when Vince and Jules go to retrieve the briefcase, it is "7:22 in the a.m.". The significance of the time 4:20 is that it is slang for smoking marijuana.
