it's raining once again in texas, most likely into tomorrow, and snowing in northern texas, this should be quite an interesting hunting season this year, many shrooms to u all who dont get fucked up by snow!:mushroom2:

Here in IN it is the same weird shit everytime this year.....70 one week 35 the next...one more month up hrer till things start to even out annd gradually warm up

strange season indeed. i found cubes extremely early in the season, and now its fucking cold.

Yea we got a few inches of snow I woke up and it looked like xmas bad thing is it was like mid 70's to 80's the last couple of weeks and humid (rare) and we so I started an outdoor grow and yesterday it dropped to 37 and this morning was snowing and it was like 20's outside. I had 10lbs fully colonized ready to start fruiting and bam it is for sure wiped out now.

it's about 40 something here between Houston and Beaumont, middle of the day, i wonder how cold it was last night or will be tonight??? gonna havta check weather.com when the sun goes down, and damnit it better heat up within a few days :mad2: im sure the day or 2 after it does heat up a bit they'll be everywhere, this little cold spell wont off them all, just slow growth for a couple days and shockem into producing abunch once it warms up, but i'd say we've had enough rain and cold, now all we need is some steady sunlight:stoned:

p.s. i found a bunch of cubes 2 days ago and have some indoor patties i brought home for scientific evaluation of the mushroom growth pattern:smirk:
so im good until it heats up, but the quicker the better:tongue2:

yea its snowing here too with it being about 30. im hoping to find some interesting and exotic mushrooms when the conditions get to being right. god just needs to get off his ass and get this spring on course.

i agree Bio- should be Quite the interesting season- But... I think the good Lord has done his fair share for us fellow shroomerites around the gulf and surrounding areas - just my opinion

I think that it will end up being good for everyone. Last December north of Beaumont, before Xmas there was at least 5 hard freezes in Tyler County. There was one location that had hundreds if not thousands of cubes. I don't think this freak weather will hurt the season, maybe help it, or at the worst delay it.
