Just starting to pin...But when do you...

My friend has to casings that are beginning to pin. Two small clumps. Just wants to know at what point would you initiate lowering the humidity?

I never really lower my humidity because they do fine at the normal rate. If anything you'll want to drop them down when you see the bulk of the pins emerge.

Thanks for the fast reply. Its 12 hours after seeing the first pins. It appears that more are coming out. How do you know when its time for cropping conditions? I mean how many pins or what percentage of the casing surface are we talking about? Do the pins have to reach a certain size first?

I do not mean to ask the same question twice, its just that I am looking for precise instructions because it is my first casing.

How many days did you wait till you saw those first pins? what strain is it?

Sorry, no answers but questions. I'm also at my first casing, and you are a few days ahead of me, I think.
