ok im trying to think of a nintendo game

it had the feel of a mario game somewhat, all i remember is desert like settings and a pyrimid with quick sand.

pretty sure it was on nintendo, but possible on snes.

i seem to remember a cactus or something that was tall made of like six or eight green balls stacked ontop of each other with eyes at the top.

this game is really fuzzy in my mind but im itching to play it again.

Super Mario World?

It also sounds alot like Super Mario 3.

maybe latter in the game? the "gameplay" is what reminds me of mario....however the maps ive playied on the mario games recently are NOTHING like this game im trying to remember.

you happen to have any screen shots of the parts in mario your thinking of?

any other games that sorta ring a bell?

I almost wanna say this game has very different charictors in in...infact i just remembered some i think

little green hooded guys <---does that ring a bell I HOPE now that i remember them .....so many more memerys!!!

ok this is the "closest" thing ive found to what im talking about

in the "right" picture the guy in the red...looks somewhat like the little green hooded guys im talking about

has anyone played kirbys adventure...does it lead to a desert with pyrimds and quicksand?

ok the little hooded guys are in mario bros 2....im thinkin this is most likely the game these guys look pretty acturate to my memory however i still see no deserts or quicksand/pyrimds thow

ok i just started up super mario bros 2 and im 90% sure this is the game althow i don't see the pyrimids it must be late in the game. the chars seem very familar thow.

anyone know if this game is 2players? i didn't see a option but you would think its 2player
