Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

hey, just wondering if anyone here owns a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amplifier... i ordered one the other day and i was told they are being discontinued, any guitarists around?

its a nice amp. very loud but thats what you get from 40 watts through a 12". you should be satisfied unless you want a bunch of gain, but i doubt you do.

naww gain isnt a big deal for me as long as it can deliver sweet sound

Hey, I have a HRD, it's pretty good on the clean and overdrive sounds. When I want distortion I run a solid state distortion pedal through it and kind of defeats the purpose of having a tube amp. If you are looking for distortion I would probably recommend a Peavey 5150, or something along those lines.
