I managed to upload one, but when it came to copy and pasting it the curser would not stay on the post, so there was nowhere for the pic to be pasted to!?????????

And the color is up to you. The black one will require more polishing as it will highlight any smudges (think greasy fingers, or if you have kids, etc). That's about the only appreciable difference. On a personal note, I usually favor the burst patterns to a solid color.

I tend to go for the solid colors, but that's because I always use colorful pickguards.

A sunburst strat screams class, so go for that one :tongue:

i'm personally a huge fan of the maple wood... i like how light it is compared to the neck of my les paul :thumbup:

um, there are probably other factors at work in your judgement of the lighter neck....balance of the body's weight vs. neckweight, size of the necks, as well as position of strap locks.

maple is much heavier than mahogany. sorry.

the fender does have an alder body, which is much lighter than the mahogany gibson lespaul


id get the sunburst strat over a solid body. Solid looks cheaper.

They're both pretty tight, but if I bought the black strat, I'd get a maple neck in place of the rosewood.

i don't know why. but I have tried to like. I was even thinking about a telecaster a fews years back but I simply cannot get into them. The neck on a les paul or sg is a little shorter than a fender. I think this is why I like it so much.

Burst colors are amazing. The strat is also a great guitar, though I prefer playing a Les Paul... Never had the money for a Les Paul though>.<
