A couple useful diagnostic techniques though.

Yeah definitely don't take your stuff to Geek Squad. I work there and I'll tell you they WAYY overprice their services and most of the time take the lazy way out and just do a system restore if it's bad enough. :rolleyes:

Yeah that's what I do like about Geek Squad. They have a pretty good sense of humor, and they have a forums with a wealth of info in them.
