Why can't I get a motherfucking Wii?!

I called fifty fucking places today.  Jesus Christ this fucking thing came out months ago.  I have 300 bucks to drop and nobody fucking wants it! 

There's two in my city on Craigslist for $400 but I can't buy them because I would be unable to prevent myself from kicking the shit out of the fucking Wii scalper who's selling it to me for a profit.

Why can't they make enough available SO THAT ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO PAY FOR IT CAN FUCKING HAVE ONE!? 

I can't remember the last time something got me this fucking worked up. Are Wiis freely available in your city? I was even willing to drive across the goddamn border but a couple places I called don't have any either.

I know man, I've been trying since launch to get one and they aren't anywhere unless you call up your local EB and see what time they usually come in at and on what days.

They sell out super quick where I am.

it took me about a week and a half of calling every store in my town that has them, target, eb games, hastings, circshit city, best buy, i called them all except wal-mart, as i refuse to spend a dime there ever...one morning, i called eb games, they said the just got 3, got it for retail...its pretty sweet

make a note card with all the numbers, and set aside about 10 minutes a day to call them all, you will play it more than that once you get it, so its worth the trouble...i promise

I just went to Best Buy on a day that they were getting them, showed up at 8am, and was number 11 in line. It wasn't that hard, you just have to know what day they are coming in.

That's what I'm gonna have to do I guess. Unfortunately I work 8:00-4:30 every weekday, so I can't be going to stores when they open on those days. Looks like I may have to dart out at lunch or something.

I just thought the initial lack of supply bullshit would be over by now.

i have been walking around with a $250 gift card since christmas waiting for someone to have it in stock. i am pretty lazy about it, and dont want to go stand in line outside some shitty fucking store at 7am though, so i guess thats why i dont have one yet. i do check this

The best day to go get a Wii is on Sundays. Most stores get new shipments in on that day and that is when sales usually start. Go to a store and get to know the kids working in the game department. Maybe you can get one of them to call you when a new shipment comes in.

And don't just go to Best Buy and stores like that. Check Costco too. One day me and my man were shopping and they had like 4 just sitting there (on a Sunday mind you) and we have never seen another one just out there like that.

We were lucky, Handsome Dave got ours the day it came out. Just woke up, went to Target and the lucky bastard got one.

Don't give up hope! It is worth every penny!

Your right, stores don't get shipments in on Fridays but almost all stores
STOCK there new shipment in on Sundays (sorry for the mix up), that is when the sales start. Ask around, you will see.

Went to Circuit City today and they had 2 Wii's on sale for 249.00.

How superior can it be? It's twice as much; I don't believe it's twice as good. In my world, $300 is justifiable to spend on a video game console, $600 is not.
