Who has Tool influenced so much then?
They don't even put out consistently good albums in my opinion.
Bob Marley is pretty much the only reggae artist I can name, and frankly when I hear most other I don't enjoy it nearly as much. Something about his music is more enjoyable than the majority of reggae to me.
I think it's fine that you disagree, but I don't see how you can say Bob Marley is overrated (which is essentially what you're saying), and go on to say Tool is amazing (at least that's what I feel you're implying, I could be wrong.)

Alright sir, Toots and Tool are different. Toots is a reggae artist from the 60's / 70's. Tool is a usually boring prog rock band. Bob Marley has boring music, especially his later stuff. Just so boring. His earlier stuff was at least funky.

Ha, my fault, I'm aware of who Toots is, I just assumed that you were naming Tool for some reason or another, not really sure why in hindsight actually.
Toots is good, another one of the few reggae artists I know. Reggae is currently top on my list of genres to get into more and learn more about.
