That's fantastic! I've been a huge Dylan fan ever since I really found music; I'm glad to hear that he got this even if he isn't technically the greatest with music he has lyrics that just can't be beat.

Dylan is an excellent lyricist, and his contributions to contemporary pop/rock can't even be measured really.  I think Bono said it best when he stated that "Dylan is the Picasso of lyrics," and when you think of it, structurally, it's true...

He was largely responsible for shifting the content of pop/rock to far more meaningful subjects by influencing groups like the Beatles and the Byrds to move into more meaningful and introspective subjects. Although, he did manage to piss off the folkies at the time, by no longer simply towing the contemporary politically-correct line, but that was part of his genius too -- not allowing his audience to own him. So many of the best artists defy the shackles that their audience so desperately wants to enslave them with...
