Lost---My Motivation.

If you happen to see it around, please tackle and hold it until I get back.

I need it desperately, as I have alot to get done and its vital to my plans.

I cant catch it myself, since w/out it I seem to be reduced to sitting here reading and drinking coffee and lamenting on my sad state of affairs.

but when i used to have insurance, i used to get my Adderall prescription filled for $5 for a month's supply of 20 mg pills. pretty sweet deal, IMO.

I really should go see a doctor.

I'm almost 100% positive I have ADD.

I literally cannot concentrate for more than 10 minutes at a time.

I've been sitting here fixing a powerpoint presentation since noon, and I have like, 6 out of 32 slides done.

I'm nervous though. i'm obviously a stoner, and I dont want to seem like a drug-seeker. I honestly wouldn't misuse them. I was a speed-freak for a bunch of years, and Adderal/Dexies/Ritalin is like candy to me. It literally has no euphoric component for me. But I cant tell a doc that.

Do they give stimulant scrips to adults?

It would all be paid for through my drug coverage at work.

honestly I lost my motivation a while ago, then I started lifting weights and eating a bunch and I feel good and motivated.

explore new things that you haven't done before that mighve have interested you in the past or even now but that you've never done. we all need a kick to our pituitary glad sometimes and that follows through getting interested in random things i believe. we dont need much man made pills to give us that kick. we have it. its a spark thats always about to come on but it just needs a little push.

i was prescribed Adderall by a psychiatrist.

i was seeing her for depression, which was really the only thing i'd admit to suffering from at the time since i was hell-bent on keeping my eating disorder clandestine.  i was having trouble concentrating in school, sure, but now i'm wondering if that wasn't mainly due to my lack of proper nutrition.  :shrug:  at any rate, she gave me some lame questionnaire to fill out... it took me all of 5 mins, and then BAM, Rx for Adderall.

man i miss that stuff...

Actually, I'm pretty sure this is the problem.

All my pot is free lately, and I'm just not getting anything done.

When I have to pay for the stuff, my consumption is minimal. But right now, I'm a bit off the wall.
