my tire fell off my car........while driving (now with pics =P )

so i'm coming home to take a nice hot shower and chill out and watch a movie when my front passenger tire fuckin decides it doesn't like my car anymore and pops off and rolls away dropping the front of my car into the street and doing a lil skid..... i was lucky i was near my house and that i have hillbilly nieghbors that have one of the car tow things that hookup to the back of there trucks.  i mean i was just kinda driving when the ABS light goes on and then the car start shaking like no other and starts pulling to the right hardcore (i had the wheel all the way to the left just to drive straight) and then right when i'm going threw the 3 way stop (like the street i was on dead ends into my drive)the tire pops off and just rolls away.  but its dark out and there is no way i wanna deal with it tonight, plus i have like 3in a snow in my driveway (what i get for shoveling half assed) so i'm just choosing to ignor this problem for now.  i hope the lugnots just came loose and the worst thing i will have to do is by a new tire (i'm sure it was rubbing against the car and is bad now)  i really hope its not the tire thing (that cable that looks like an L that controlls the steering). Part of me thinks that snaped but who knows.  i'll keep you all informed haha.  what a shitty day but i'ma try and not let it get to me. :thumbup:

the tire probably fell off because the lug nuts came off, however you may have a bent axle now that your car fell on that front end

I was at work the other day (sat) and I seen someone in the road. As I got closer I was able to tell that the left front tire fell off.

get any car work done lately? Maybe the mechanics didn't tighten it enough?

no not really any work done to it besides me changing oil and whatnot. i really hope it was just the lug nuts but i dought it now that i think about it. i would have felt the car shaking long before they got that lose. the way it happened that fast and all i think something snapped or broke. like i said though its dark and i don't wanna deal with it. i didn't even try to look at anything. now its sucks cause i gotta carpool to work at 3am in the morning but on the positive side the car thats picking me up should be nice and warm but the time it gets here haha. plus the guy picking me up always has flame buds so that means hitters on the way to work. =)

that happened to me in a Toyota fj-70 1992 the brake disc broken out while driving but it just has spit it out and continue like nothing:P
