buying a cactus

i'm probably gonna get a nice 8 or 14" san pedro cactus from an online auction. i wanna know if anyone has any experiences with this. i'm curious bc i heard there is mescaline in it and have always been fascinated about this drug. i'mt hinking i could just dry the whole piece and eat it or brew it in a tea. if i did this would i get any effects from it, or would it even be a trip? thanks for the advice.

Anyone who thinks mushrooms taste bad just has to try San Pedro. It is hands down the worst tasting thing I have ever put into my mouth. If dog shit could get you a trip I think I would rather eat it than San Pedro. It is not only the taste, but the slimeyness of it. Also it seems to gain volume in your mouth as you swish it around and try to swallow it. It took everything I could muster not to vomit for the first 5 minutes after I did it, but after that it wasn't so bad. I did a piece about 20 inches long and 5 inches in diameter. Cut the spines off, peeled off the skin, cut out the woody part, then I put it into the blender. I mixed a whole bunch of kool aid and sugar into it before I drank it. Ended up tripping like I do on a half a gram of mushrooms. By that I mean not very much. Every 10 minutes I would look around and think to myself "Well, maybe I am tripping, a little bit.". At least it was free. They are used alot around here for landscaping ornamentation and you can drive down the street and whack one off with a machete pretty easily. They are also sold at Home Depot and Wal Mart gardening centers for about 8 bucks.

I got to admit that cactus is out there, but I would try to boil the cactus down into one or two shots, so that I could mix it with peanut butter. Anything mixes with peanut butter. But a worst tasting substance is boiled fungus.

Just picked up my San Pedro today at the post office.

I got it from a nursery called Bouncing Bear. They have a website online.

It cost me $25.00 for a Foot long top cutting with the shipping included.

My order came pretty fast, with instructions on how to repot it.

I recomend them, it was no hasle at all.
