Stupid Pan Cyans (or Stupid grower rather) and glad ovenware

So, I just lost all my pan cyan casings to green/fermentation during the fucking spawn run, I really don't have the cash to buy more ovenware, even tho it's only 4.50 for 3 of them.

Are these things PC'able? I would assume so since they can take 350 in the oven, but I don't feel like making a molten puddle in my PC so I thought I'd ask.

Also, are the lids so I don't have to open the fuckers.

THE PLASTIC GLAD STUFF? THEY SUCK BALLS. THEY melt whenever they damn please. i had one going bungco just heating up some honey water in the microwave- they lid all melted out of shape. Before that I had one melt out in PC. I hate those fuckers. I hate glad. My life is a portrait of helll.

the plastic for the lid is generally a different rating than the container...that's why you're not supposed to microwave the lids, even if they are marketed as microwavable

I love the black gladware trays. They're awesome fruiting containers. There is NO need to ever expose them to heat. Simply take your contaminated projects outside and dump them in the garden or trash. Rinse the tray with the garden hose, then bring it in and wash with soap and water. If you want to get really anal, you can rub it down with alcohol after washing.

We use the PC to kill bacteria and bacterial endospores, not molds. Molds just get killed off in the process, but the pc is not necessary for them.
