yesterday when i left for class weather.com said "feels like 10degrees" and of course i woke up late so i had wet hair - so i rode my bike to get there as quickly as possible and by my second class i had a scratchy throat...

still have some throat medicine my friend gave me last time he was sick so ive been taking that - it has codine so it really helps.

It was -5 here without the windchill yesterday. I'm in and out the door all the time with my job and I'm surprised I didn't catch a cold from working on Sunday. It was about 1 degree all day and about -15 or so with the windchill.

I work on the runway at the airport here.

At night.

So, its probably -30 w/ the windchill at night, and I'm standing out on a runway w/ the wind blowing across perfectly flat ground from almost 2 miles away and the first thing it hits is me.
