Selling weight to a future state trooper?

This kid I know is about a year away from joining the State Police. He sells weed though. A fair amount (buys 1/4 - 1/2 an lb to sell around here)

Would you be sketchy about supplying him?

THATS the one person you need to make connections with...just make sure its at a real personal level...hes gotta be a good friend or he may one day trade you over for some brownie points, know what i mean...hook him up..real good...and if you can..get some evidence of it just to cover your ass...eventually hes gonna have to quit smoking it...for a lil bit, which will only be a problem for YOU if he stops selling it as well... try an keep him involved in it...he could be the most valuable partner you could hope for...

Yeah but the thing is I'm not making money here.. I'm just doing it cuz I know people that want to get rid of shit. It's stupid anyway, I just like reaping the benefits of not having to buy weed.

That's for the FBI... while the state police go through serious training, I never heard about a polygraph..

Ummmm you are incorrect trust me. I know many state troopers that have had to, and I know someone that was almost going to be one and failed the poly. He lied a couple times and they knew it. If you lie once your out. They may give you one chance to retract you lie.

Maybe it depends on the state. I have two people in my house that are going to be state troopers, and they have never mentioned a polygraph.

Upon a google search, my state is on a list of states that don't use a polygraph in hiring purposes

idk man you got yourself into a tough situation...look from experiance i know cops are dirty and im not just saying that because i disagree with certain laws and dont abide by them...im saying this because power corrupts...ur friends now and u smoke all the time but whos not to say you still chill with him and blaze down and all this stuff while he is the enemy and one day when he dont got ne nugget and knows you do its as easy as turning on those dreadful lights pulling you over and taking your sack and threaten to arrest you if you dont give it to him ,a little extreme but it hapend to me(wasnt a friend but cops have taken my weed and smoked it in front of me no joke)...

Im just sayin because he is going into a job where smoking is not ok...if he ever gets caught up at work because of his habbits and your arround, whos not to say your takin the fall with him...and in this case takin the fall is clearly not a good thing..

Friend now enemy when he turns...dont take the risk
and in no way shape or form inform him on the current who has what situation eather its better for him to know nothing at all if he wants to be a high cop then let him get his stash from someone else..

BAD idea. I wouldn't sell to him, and I wouldn't connect him with any friends either; it's just too risky. I for one wouldn't like the idea of a cop knowing that kind of shit. It's just not cool. If you DO decide to hook him up with your friends, make sure you tell them what he's up too first, and get their ok.



As to the polygraph test, that's true, and pretty much all cops have to take them; feds, staties and city cops...

Sounds like a damn good person to make the connection with. But like was said before, he'd have to be a good friend and such.

Also, it doesn't matter how much weed you used to smoke, as long as you stop when the time comes. My brother was gonna be a State Trooper, and he is one of the biggest pot heads I know. But he decided the army was a better choice. (What a fool, State Trooper and the army as his top two choices?) But the weed smoking wasn't a problem, he just had to quit in time to pass a test, same as with the army.

rahie is very correct. Anymore even police at the local and county level get polygraph tests. My stepdad, for whatever reason, wanted to be a cop. He was applying for a local position and got these polygraph and I know for a fact it goes the same for state, at least where I live. Chances are the technology is plenty affordable as very easy to pull off for all levels of law enforcement.

I don't know about the hook with a future cop...
