Wait, you sold an iMac for 1200?? I, personally, would never pay that much, since you can get MacBooks for that much. Go buy a MacBook, they're sweet.

well my imac is worth about 1500 bucks. i bought it for 1700 5 months ago.

ill be mostly using it for school and music.

you might want to check out http://www.notebookreview.com and their forums. :wink:

i compared lots of notebooks there before ultimately settling with an Asus. no regrets to the day.

i've heard good things about apple, but i never really considered making the switch. ibm pcs have worked for me just fine. :mushroom2:
