Is this mycellium piss? The casing's mycellium has drops of clear liquid on it. This looks like a bubble of something...weird.


ANYONE KNOW?

well the pic is really bad... but id assume from what your seeing and describing that you have some hyphal notting going on.... thats atleast what it kinda looks like... mycelial piss is a yellowish liquid, that aint it

the piss will collect at the bottom of the casing and it will be a yellow color. your bubble could be just condensation (water) built up on the surface.

I beg to differ... What happens is water condensation that the mycelia grows over, it forms like a water baloon like structure, you can pop them, but why bother? It's extra water for the cake.

"Piss" is yellow, and i think it's a byproduct of fast colonization.

I found this unique. I made the pic negative and it shows all of the mycellium growth. I think the round-nubbies are the "drops" I am talking about.



I could not do any better so show the drops than this.

That sounds more like contam than mycelium piss. Mycelium piss usually shows up as white mycelium that turns yellow over night. It also doesnt grow any bigger. So watch for the yellow stuff to grow and srpread across your casing.

Could the casings be dry? If so any remedy?
