NFL Network sucks
    #6377788 -

God, not only do I have to pay extra each month for this crap, but now they've got Deion Sanders subbing in on the play by play.

Yuck, as if Bryant Gumbel and Dick Vermeil weren't bad enough, now it's Gumbel and Prime Time.  If it wasn't raining and cold here, I'd go sit in my car and listen to the game on Sirius radio.

What the hell is the NFL thinking?  Let's put games on weird nights on a channel nobody gets and give it the worst announcers we can find?

/rant

It's a hell of a good game, despite the morons calling it.  Didn't think Atlanta had this in them.

Pretty retarded, yeah.

Are the announcers and half-time guys as bad as CBS?
The CBS half-time/pre/post-game people are terrible.

Boomer Esaison's a meathead and Shannon Sharpe is not only and ignoramus but his speach is indecipherable.

Man it was excruciating listening to Dick Vermeil in the first half. he sounded like he was dying. I knew they'd have to yank him.

Actually, I missed Vermeil because I had to drive an hour round-trip in the rain to trade in my fucking defective cable box just so I could watch that crappy channel.

Apparently my cable company had sent an update yesterday that "didn't take on all the boxes".  Then I had to call and get my damn premium package re-authorized on  the new box.

So I went through a hell of a lot of effort just to get to the stupid channel, only to see how awful the coverage was.

Sounds like it's a good thing that I missed Vermeil, though.  He sucks even with a good voice.

satellite companies are thinking they want you to buy a subscription to their big football season tickets and you probably wont waste your cash if they give it to you on the NFL network

Just had to bump this thread 'cause I'm sitting here suffering through Rich Eisen announcing the Senior Bowl.

I hate the NFL Network! Stop ruining all my games with shitty announcers. Bryant Gumbel was bad enough, but Rich Eisen really should not be calling a game...yuck.

I'm gonna mute this crap and turn on some Sirius NFL radio while I watch it. Grrr....I hated Rich Eisen when he was on Sportscenter.

Someone told me Bryant Gumbel was calling the Super Bowl.

I cant believe this would be true.

Oh God no!!!

If that happens, I'm gonna just go to the beach and listen to the Sirius broadcast in my truck. (Can't get their live broadcasts online)

It's bad enough that Bryant Gumbel is a moron and doesn't know shit about football, but his voice is annoying as hell. I can't take that high-pitched nasal shit for an entire game.
