Do you ever get mad at video games?(more Zelda)

If you want to talk Zelda: TP  I won't delete your posts and it's a little more chilled out in here :wink:  Just give a heads up if you are gonna give spoilers.

But my main question is, do you ever find yourself getting extremely pissed playing videogames?  I have a BIG problem with this and have since I was a little kid.  I hate it when I lose or something bad happens because of a glitch...that's the worst scenario.  And I mean, getting mad like hucking controls, screaming, punching shit type mad.  So not cool , I know...but FUCK.

I stopped playing videogames completely for 2 years because of this.

Now I'm back in it and over time I see I'm letting the games get to me more and more.  When I first came back to them, I was chilled out.  Regardless if I'm high or not....they can get me SO fucking angry.

15 minutes ago I snapped at the new Zelda and I'm returning it to the video store(it's a rental overdue).  That is all.  Fucking game.

Hmmm one time playing street fighter alpha with my friend (who had no experience with the game) I was pretty damn good with akuma,and i dunno how the fuck he was whipping me ass just BUTTON MASHING.Eventually I threw the playstation controller up...and punched the shit out of it. :shrug:

madden 07 superstar mode.... it pisses me off when the computer picks a bad play for me. I hate not being able to pick my plays.

I've broken a lot of controllers in my time, especially when I was a teenager.

Fuck I'm still so angry....

I just went and did all 50 floors of the cave of ordeals, only to get to the last floor and die....and not because I had no choice. But because I ASSUMED my bottle of fairy tears would come out automatically like the fairies do. FUCK! There is no way I want to do it again...i'm pissed.

My gf laughs at first, but I get so mad I turn on anyone around me if they even look at me wrong. I'm not proud of it, but fuck videogames make me mad. I"m gonna have to put them down for awhile again.

This is all when I was younger I'm a lot more patient with videogames now I usually get bored and take a break before I start getting pissed off. If I still want to play videogames I just play a different one.

One time I was playing Power Stone 2 and fighting this girl named Rouge and she kept running around the stage throwing pots at me. I knew what I was doing in the game and she should have been easy to beat but she was being really cheap with those pots. After a few tries I just ended up kicking a hole in the wall about a foot up from the floor.

Another time I was playing my friend at Mortal Kombat and he was doing some move where his character kept flying in the air and punching mine in the temple or something. Just the same move over and over I got so pissed when I lost that I punched my friend in the temple.

I used to throw controllers at the floor too but I didn't ever break any, I had a friend who broke a controller like every 3 months. His controllers always had cracks in the back from smashing them on his knee or throwing them at stuff. I think his parents tried to steer him towards RPGs because it's harder to get violent playing them.

:lol: Ya I was cussing out Chun Li this morning playing Street Fighter II for SNES on PSP

It always seems to be the fighting games that cause problems, especially when fighting female characters.

Yeah, I need to work on it. I punched the shit out of everything and snapped the game case(rental case). haha *sigh*

No man...I didn't lose SHIT against those fuckers...that's what I'm mad about. I still had a bottle of fairy tears, but just figured they'd act automatically like the fairies do, when you die.

That's why I'm STILL fairly riled up. FUCK. I mean, I had it! And why didn't I just use the bottle before my last heart just in case to play it safe...FUCK.

Just thinking about it, I wanna beat someone down. haha GRRRR

oh god,you're right...fighting games make me nutty.especially after when you crank up the difficulty and the cpu becomes SUPER cheap.

Yea, I broke a gamecube control because of viewtiful joe. Awesome game, but totally made for the japanese crowd, very difficult game.

I used to have pretty bad game rage.  Now I just yell, but I've broken probably 4-5 controllers from various systems.

If anyone remembers Troy Aikman Football from Sega Genesis, you'd know that when you were winning by a good amount, the game would start to "even" things out, your passes would all be intercepted, or you'd always fumble, etc.  Well I smashed that game to peices with a hammer and burnt the peices in the fireplace.  I also threw NBA Jams and I think one of the Mortal Kombat's out the window.

oh god yes...nba jam games...FUCKING SATAN! Mortal Combat or any fighting game for that matter would have me flip out.

Super Mario brothers causes me to spazz out a good amount. Shooting games make me pretty angry as well.

I've never played one game besides Wii sports that didn't make me wanna bash something. lol. Every game pisses me off pretty bad sometimes.

Shooters are prety frustrating too,like R type,gradius.The hardest one i've seen is Ikaruga.

Dude my mom used to get pissed at me, even threaten to ground me, for cursing and yelling at video games. This year i got the Wii, which she learned how to play and was soon cursing at the TV... she apologized to me promptly
