Shrooming Videogames

I've only played videogames a couple of times while on shrooms; the first was while waiting for a high to kick in and the second was while I was coming down from a high. I sucked bad on both occasions and found it hard to focus on what I was actually doing.

Now that I think about it though, I never really played a game worth shrooming to. I played Halo 2 for a bit and got my ass handed to me online. There's a couple of games I can think of that would have been a lot more fun to experiment with.

And that's where this thread comes in. What games are a blast to play when you're shrooming? There's this one game coming out called Psychonauts that looks like the perfect game to trip to. Psychonauts IGN Preview

I played Mario Kart for N64 while I was shrooming and I was having a blast, especially on the rainbow level.

mario kart 64 is the only video game i wanna play on shrooms.

i played block fort multiplayer and i couldn't tell there were multiple levels. it looked 2d

Mario kart's definitely the shit on mushrooms.

I don't know if anyone else has even HEARD of this game, but gunstar heroes for the sega genesis totally rocks!! I played that game stoned for months when I first started smoking. I've yet to play it on mushrooms though. So if anyone has a dreamcast, ps2, or xbox (or if you own the game!!) then definitely get an emulator or dust off your genesis and own that shit. So many flashing lights, I swear I've almost had seizures.

Rez was MADE for tripping.
Katamari damacy would also probably kick ass, havent tried it yet.

And I personly enjoy GTA vice city, just something about running from the cops when cheery 80's music is playing.

Usually the game needs to be pretty simple or you'll get confused, but I play GTA so much it works well.

Best tripping game ever, nothing really complicated, head for a car and just drive around, funnest time ever.

Simpsons Hit and Run
the gamestyle is like GTA, only with much more colorful graphics and Simpsons humor. Really great.

any oldschool arcade games are great. you know... the ones that make the weird little spaztic sounds and beeps but are simple as hell to play. pacman, galactica, umm... i cant think of anymore right now.

soul caliber II fuckin rules for gamecube too....

nature and real life is the best videogame while tripping tho.

Wow Rez is awesome on mushies (Mine didn't come with a trance vibrator i feel jipped lol)a couple other games similar to rez (and easier to find too) frequency and amplitude (which has better music in my opinion)

Also old school mario and mike tyson's punchout are awesome

I just like to watch though.

I used to play Quake 1, 2, and 3 online deathmatch on acid.  It was alot of fun, I would put my face up to the screen and really get into the zone.  haha.. makes me laugh remembering that shit.  It's funny the kinds of strategies you will pull when your brain is operating on a totally different frequency.

Mario Bros. 3 is a very magical game. 

And yea MarioKart battlemode for SNES :smile:

I noticed in your avatar that show 'wizards'...can you order it online??...I seen it before tripping on cid..it is a hard show to find..

I can't play video games on shrooms, I totally just zone out sometimes looking at some details instead of actually playing the damn game.

Also, wizards is a great movie. I've owned the VHS for a while and I just recently got the DvD off ebay. Boy was I psyched.

Me and some friends have been playing old school Mario games (2 and 3) when tripping lately.

Resident Evil 4 is fun, but can get confusing.

ok, i got in on this late, but i played the latest flight simulator while shrooming and it was great. but the problem was that i got hypnotized by the scenery and crashed often. strange. i dont know if shrooms and games mix yet. i'll have to experiment more =D

I played original mario on NES on one ocasion and it was hillarious. I got mad at my friend because he got me killed. (low dose)
(Med Dose) We both were laughing and smoking a lot and we turn on Super Smash Bros Melee for Gamecube it was the funniest game I have ever played. Keep in mind I play this game a lot anyways and I love it... still.
