perl/apache/mysql/*nix administration. i know C(++), java, python, but never use them (all the work i do is web-based apps in perl)

what was my uninformed response? to check /etc/resolv.conf? more of a half-assed "didn't really read the main post" response than anything else.. did you ever get that working?

So there are a few able minded people (when it comes to computers) kicking around these forums :smile:

I myself program primarily in C under openbsd & linux (gotta love glibc). Touched on inline 32bit assembly.

Mysql & apache administration doesn't count :p its not hard to vi httpd.conf :grin:

Before I found a life I was an avid 'haqr' if you will, and have written articles for a few known ezines :grin:

hjeh ah well seriously, i used to code shellcodes and shit in ju0nix and be cool like that, i can be a admin too.. admin stuf is piece of cake, but i lost all intrest in unix, networking, programming hacking and whatnot over 7 years ago. I was even part of a hacking group too, we were badass lol not a part of my history i mention often
