To be honest I wouldn't want a tattoo like that, maybe it suits you though. I just don't see the point in having a foreign language for a tattoo, I guess you want attention? People to ask what it means?

Personally, I decided that all my tats will be in places that are able to be covered up if need be.

i dont understand why people get tattoo's in different languages, unless you are chinese.. like what does chinese mean to you?.. i dont understand it

im sure chinese people arent rushing out and getting "peace" written on their arm in english.

Anyone else remember the "Insert General Tso's Chicken here" tattoo that was made famous because that dumb bitch thought it meant peace and love or something.

Anyway, stupidest idea for a tattoo ever. Get something that had some meaning to it. Unless you are Chinese, or have an Asian fetish or something, just get the ENGLISH word Peace written cool with some designs or something.

Unless you're doing it to be a kewl d00d attention whore. Then definatly get it done. In fact, go to a Chinese tattoo parlor and ask them to write all kinds of symbols. Don't worry, they'll tell you what they mean.

I think it sucks personally, I mean all these poeple get kanji or whatever and they have no connection to japan or anything, it's just pointless.
I don't think it looks good anyway and that stuff's way too common.

Honestly, I have never gotten a tat, mainly because i spend my money on other things before body art.
If I ever got one, it would be really good artwork.
I figure if you are going to put a picture on your body, it might as well be da bomb!!!

So they can be proud with their false sense of deep insight that is permanently marked on their skin. And because absolutely no thought is required. You just need to look up a symbol in some Asian book and PRESTO! instant coolness.
