shure e2c vs bose triport IE

i thought about throwing this into science and technology, but i think it's better suited here.

i just got my second pair of e2cs.. i didn't take the best care of my last ones and the cords got chewed up. If you're considering the new bose over the shure's, don't. The shure's are much more comfortable and have much better sound quality.. i found the bose were both bass heavy and also muddled in the midrange... the bose wouldn't even stay in my ears when i was walking or moving in general.. sort of defeats the point of in ears if they don't stay in.

I have the e2c's also, but I rarely ever wear them.
I also have some Sennheiser eh2270 cans, and I much prefer them if I need something in/on my ears.

I'm always weary of Bose products; it seems their brand name is worth more than their quality.
