well, not everyone. There's a lot of old school new england people (hardened features, kinda ugly, etc) and then there's a lot of hippies.

well I mean it's been mild up here, it's snowing good right now.. and it's cold. I don't want to throw the global warming stamp on one mild winter.. I was here last year, and it was great skiing. :shrug:

Global warming is the going to be the event of the century and we are living through it. They label it el nino but nobody is fooled. 1'' of snow here in indiana and last year we have 14'' by this time. And last year was a very mild winter.

I used to love to play in the snow as a kid. But 10-15 years down the road the winters consist of flurries at best.

Yeah, I hear the people from Vermont are hippies too. I hear many of them are politically active too, unlike most Americans. I wouldn't mind going up there.

There's a very "Canadian" vibe up here.. well we are damn close to the border anyway...

It snowed 6 inches today, great conditions, and some kid smoked me out on the porch of the lodge today :grin:

It's tough to explain, I like nice people, but I can't wait to get back to NJ, where people don't notice you etc.
