well, she has had a while to recuperate so I take credit for everything that is right with her.. Feeding her NPK 5,1-1,0-4,3 BTW I'm hoping that it should be about right for her :lighter: Anyone that knows?

Should be OK, fertilizer for her.  Chemical or organic?


Everything I read says general purpose ferts are good for miss sally.

Thats usually an NPK of roughly 5-1-1.

The growth parameters are: N (nitrogen) which promotes leaf growth and forms proteins and chlorophyll, P (phosphorus) which contributes to root, flower and fruit development, and K (potassium) which contributes to stem and root growth and the synthesis of proteins.

So IMHO you good! :thumbup: :sun:

yours looks ok to me,
thats a good size plant so when shes got used to her new home she should boom! :smile:

much bigger then my specimen anyway, it was a small agar tissue culture, half dead when it arrived on xmas eve...
but its recovered and is growing now :wink:

Seems like you got something of a green thumb, thats pretty good for such a short time.. I myself has not had that kind of luck in raising agar cultures(only tried it once and that went nowhere)..

you need a grow medium(they can be found on some internet chem sites or you can make an own medium) with hormones that stimulate shoots. Take a piece of sterile leaf and place in the medium.
When you got shoots from your culture you transplant the shoot to a new medium with rooting hormone.. Then you got yourself a clone.
A pretty good guide can be found here;

edit; last time I did this I used both rooting hormone and shoot stimulating hormone on the same plate; DO NOT DO THIS! I't started to develop but died before any real shoots had grown..
