So I planted these outside quite early, actully I planted quite a few, and these are the only surviving ones. The main leaves perdy much died off by now, and new ones more adjusted to the environment have just started to come out, It took about a week for them to fit in. I think they will do good though . SOrry for the blury pictures.

Hey, I've planted a few salvias outside this year too. Last year I had one in a pot outside, and it grew to about five foot (as well as having some big branches, and I took cuttings), so this year I have four plants planted in the soil in similar conditions to that one. Hopefully the increased root space will allow for more growth .
If they look like they're doing well, then I have another half dozen in pots that I could plant out too! My hope is to have a few hundred grams of dry leaf by the end of the season. I'll totally harvest most of my plants, and have one or two little cuttings that I can keep inside over winter and start again next year.

I wish you the best of luck!
