Fridge Temps for Honey Water Tek

I recently used the honey water tek and am making cakes with the results! I am just curious though, the tek says to put unused honey water in the fridge. I did so, and was just wondering how the mycelium survives at such low temps. Do I have to let it warm to room temp before I use it? Also, do I have to get chunks of the mycelium into the syringe? Just curious, any feedback would be appreciated!!

Mycelium survives subzero temps outdoors during winter doesn't it? Why would the fridge hurt it? No, you dont need to let it warm up first. The more mycelium you can get into the syringe the better.
