Jazz help!
    #6367133 -

I need some help on the following:

Describing the development of the trumpet throughout the history of jazz, including four major contributors.

Describing the development of the tenor saxophone throughout the history of jazz, including four major contributors.

Describing the development of the alto saxophone throughout the history of jazz, including four major contributors.

Describing the development of the trombone throughout the history of jazz, including four major contributors.

Compare and contrast the styles of the Count Basie and Duke Ellington bands, including three members of each band.

Explaining the origins of bebop, including the innovations of the "holy trinity".

Explaining how Miles Davis has come to be known as the most influencial jazz musician in the second half of the 20th century.

Explaining why the West Coast Jazz and Hard bebop developed, contrasting the styles of three soloists from each.

!!Any help immensly appreciated!!

i don't go to school, but that sounds like it'd actually be a fun report to do. i'd just read about it on wikipedia, if i were you. and in any books you may have on the subject.

i'm almost tempted to do the research for my own benefit. :P

Ooh ooh!
Another add on:

"The blues and gospel music are both sides of the same coin." Elaborate.

(Im assuming gospel and blues use the same musical structure/progressions? the 1-4-5 or somthing to that degree? And also come from the same group of people, the black slaves)
