My gf made me get her a cat a few weeks ago too. We got a kitten from the animal shelter, it was skinny as hell so we've been trying to fatten it up. It was like 8 weeks old when we got it. It was already litter trained, so that was nice. It always wakes us up in the morning, the little shit.

We aren't getting it declawed though. They don't just cut the claws off, they cut its toes off, and that's just fucked up. We've been cutting our cats claws. It hates it, and it freaks out when we do it, but I still think it would prefer that to the alternative.
