Awh what a nice story!  Charming and heartwarming.  It is wonderful that you are blessed with such a special friend.

One time my dogs contributed to a severe freak out I had.  I have two little dogs and if I am feeling uncomfortable or anxious it seems they can sense this.  They will stare at me without pause and have a look of anticipation and inquiry on their faces.  In this one instance, I began to believe that they were really me and their existence depended on me, and that they were waiting for me to have this explosion of enlightenment and then die.  They wanted me to die so they could also be liberated.  Their excitement seemed to mount and so did mine, and so I felt myself approach that death-point and was convinced I was about to die.  It was pretty scary but some xanax helped me mellow out.  It is bad enough how you can convince yourself of some crazy stuff, but when your dogs are acting weird it really helps enforce it!

As for a positive story, I do remember one time where I was relaxing outside in my backyard in the grass on a beautiful sunny day and stared at one of my dogs playing around and being cute (she is a Pomeranian, a sweet lil fluffball of love!).  She seemed so innocent and playful and true and it was absolutely adorable.  She was like a shining embodiment of childlike happiness, pure joy, and it was pretty cool!  :flowerchild:
