What are some atlernatives to using plexi glass on the terrarium?

Buy safety glass. I use 1/4" with the edges smoothed. A bit expensive but it doesn't sag and lets in lots of light.

Saran Wrap for a temperary or semi-permanent alternative to plexi-glass.

Thats what I use shroomhermit. I have a rubbermaid container that the lid was blue so no light was able to get to it. So I just cut a square out of the lid, and stretched saran wrap across it and taped it down with duct tape really good. Works just fine. I can even fan with it and it wont mess up the saran wrap.

Yeah, my friend had a blue lidded rubbermaid container (with yellow handles) and thats what i reccomended. One thing i like about it is that you can purposely get it to sag in the middle. When it sags, all the water goes to the middle and drips in one point. Thats better then plexies glass were the odds of a water dropping in a particular place is pretty much random.

Are you using a rubbermaid container?

If so, find your moms big clear storage container, cut out a nice big
window & silicon glue it to where you have cut out a window a tiny bit smaller then the piece you have.

So i couldn't find any safety glass or anything like that so I used the plastic face of and old clock that my little brother had.

Its round and lets light in . It looks like a porthole. And yes I am using rubbermaid; a 73 Qt/70L tub.

Oh, yeah I have a question also. I ask it this way because I hate posting and posting....

I cased and have saran wrap around the container. Is condensation fine to be in there.
