Plexy Glass?

Will a piece of plexy glass on top of a 10 gallon acquarium keep in enough humidity for Spanky? Will he need to put something heavy on top? Will he need something to seal it up a little better (syran wrap?)? Anyone have experience with this that will help Spanky with his problem?

Plexiglass will work fine. Don't wait 'til you need it to put it all together and test. Ideally there would be a slight tilt to the lid to keep moisture from collecting and dripping on your crop surface.

In my friend's exerience plexi-glass sucks major ass...
Under high humidity it seems to droop down...
It wont seal with silcon....
He has used an 18 gallon rumbermaid container and cut a 8x16 hole in the lid and tried to seal a piece plexi-glass over the hole....
The plastic drooped an warped under his light...
He then drilled holes and rivoted the plexi-glass to the lid while silicon was still wet....
This has seemed to work fine, finally
If you place any thing heavy on the plexi-glass it will only warp faster..

First, Spanky would like to thank you guys for your quick responses. He'll make sure he picks up the thickest thing he can find. There's no real way he could get a tilt...but he's pretty intelligent, he'll figure something out.
