i got a virus / worm / whatever pls help

hey !

so it all started that the shroomery irc server didnt permit access and
thanks to blink i found out that my port 1080 is open prolly by a virus / worm / something.

it seems as if this malicious programm is running a socks proxy on my machine.

now, i am scanning with FREE AV but it doesnt
seem to find whatever is fucking with my box !

pls help, i do not know what do do next ?!

Following the five-step plan here can resolve most problems.

It's advice on what do before posting a "log" - an output file of a process analyser called highjack this, very useful for identifying and removing some types of malware.

My advice would be to follow the five-step plan in that link. If you're still having problems after that, you should download HijackThis, run it and post a log in that forum. It's dedicated to helping people analyse and solve malware problems, and it's frequented by some very knowledgeable and helpful people who'll stay with you until your problems are solved.
