Personally, Im sick of working shitty jobs. Thats why I got back into school.

Realize that you aren't going to get a good job without a degree....well, unless you've got a family business or you know people, which is a high possibility. In which case you can say screw homework. :smile:

Well. You will probably have to indirectly associate doing your homework with achieving something other than a diploma. Like a diploma equals more cash which in turn equals more <insert object of success here>. It has worked for me in the past. Basically, you will need to create a small amount of novelty around doing it.

Good luck (I feel ya though, homework is definitely a pain).

If all else fails, you could always play Russian Roulette with a semi-automatic.
(Some guy actually did this. He had to be missing a few things in his head before the trigger went back, but without a doubt afterwards). Anyways, it has been known to cure procrastination.

I always find when I start procrastinating a glass of whisky helps. After one glass you will be able to focus on the task at hand, while at the same time forget about other meaningless crap as your brain doesn't wonder so much. Do as much work as you can and as soon as you feel yourself procrastinating, drink the scotch. Trust me, I've used this technique throughout my whole degree.

think about working at a job that pays more than $35 an hour (adjust this number based on your major).

or do what i did, go stand on a freezing cold mountain making $6 an hour for a few months. Its fun at first but then it gets to you, that you could potentially make in a day using your brain what you make in a week using your body.
