sorry to take so long to get this back to you...I think I connected before all went down
BUT I am posting this out-lands so all may see....thanx and care....farmer.
.....
.......
.I am going to post this so anyone in your position may follow the lead....
I hope you do not mind...but in my opinion.......
the shipping alone to u would be prohibitive...and...really a real waste of
resources..in just getting it to you or anyone out there...
the success of fungi growers, etc. anywhere is to adapt to the locally available
materials as much as possible for their growing requirements...in other words use
what you do have.....unless its always snow and ice outside....then thats another matter....broomsage...or broomstraw..may grow near you or a grass type ...
ask any horse stable where they get it...and they may even give you some...
find a feed store for the straw....and if you're going to do this more than once..
electic shredders sell for under $ 200 they are quite and grind right into a garbage
bag...and they grind finer than the big chopper-shredder we use...
if anyone is even thinking of getting lots of money into a tub of chopped straw
better spend the money on equipment and a few buks for the local straws...
that is IF you may have the facility to grind it..ii is a dusty job a best not done near your grow operations.....
these little grinders are available worldwide...mail-order..fairly light weight...and a great
investment if used correctly....but not for growing 1000 pounds of agaricus blazei ,
etc.....but a good research tool...just the same...
I think you may find all you need locally for your bulk substates....suppliments are another matter....like spawnmates...etc...and get your strainzz acclimated to
the locale.....is really best....even dried grass clippings..."without sprays etc"
will work for many species...strains...make a salad...copy nature as much as you can...and success will follow.....luck helps too...care....farmer.
