Whats worse than bongo playing hippies?

Bongo playing homeless people outfront of the liquor store across the street. He's been there every day for the last two weeks, and all day all I hear is his inability to keep a beat or create a rythm -- he just smacks the bongo at random, its getting bloody annoying.

(*note: I dont really have anything against bongo playing hippies, but I do have things against bongo playing homeless bums)

Isn't there a "no loitering" policy or something outside of the store? Around here they would call the cops and have him out of there.

if he won't take the $3.. he is in front of a liquor store, i'm sure he'd love a six pack or pint. 

lead him around the corner, steal his drum, and keep the liquor. that way at least you're paying for something.

I personally love the guys who stand infront of the store holding the "Outreach" news papers. Its also amusing if I'm doing a booze run near the store closing hours, and you see 1 or 2 of the beggers inside picking up their hooch.

I've also seen a few of them in Shoppers Drugmart buying mouth wash also -- I guess on those days they didnt get quite enough change.

I doubt most liquor store bums are all that interested in food, homeless or not... at least not around here.

The bums that hang outside of liquor stores in my area are usually after one of two things: money for booze, or money for crack. I've even seen bums sitting outside taking hits off of a stem.

When offered food or something, they usually turn it down or say that they would rather have cash. My guess is that many of the bums already have a source for food or some way to get it. The actual "bumming" is almost always to get fucked up or high.
