hardest day i EVER worked!
    #6162337 -

i FINELLY got a job, after almost 11 months of sitting at home mainly posting here but occationally going out. recently i felt like i'm fed up with the way i live and its finelly time to take action.

last night i got a call back from this guy who makes gardens for privet people (decking, lighting, planting, water features and stuff like that) i was just about to leave for my weekly dance calss and agreed to show up the next day for work. i wasn't ready AT ALL... i didn't have propper clothes, i got home really late (only slept like four hours) it was HOT today... the worst part though was that today he was renevating a garden which means pulling out everything (trees, grass, shrubs, a plam tree). i've done some physical stuff in the past two/three months, gradually building my body but i got no where close to what i needed for today.

it. was. HARD!
but strangly rewarding, i'm actually looking forward for sunday when we do some more cleaning and maybe start building or whatever.
i was afraid i'll bitch and moan all the time but i took it like a man and really gave my best (although i made sure not to put out more then i could handle, i'm very scared for my body!)

smoked a joint on my way home, i got SO blasted but it helped grownd me and reminded me to breath deep and relax my muscles (all hail the healing powers of THC!!!)
when i got home i did loads of streatching, took a GOOD bath, masagued my self.
i did some tai chi/yoga and meditated for a while so i won't hurt too bad when i wake up tomorrow morning. it helped a great deal actualy and i'm SO happy that i practice a little of each and know what i'm doing...

i'm pretty pleased with my self for a change
here's for good times a head

i'll miss loitering around here though, even though hitting the refresh butten aint THAT great... it's a sort of comfort and an outlet from my common emptiness... i'll probably still spend enough time on here anyway, but i'm gonna be much more healthy and ballanced (hopfully, if i won't die or something  :smirk:)

i have much to tell about my first day but i'm too tired right now and i doubt it's really that interesting

Congratz man!

There's something to be said for hard work.

My Dad has done hard labor of some kind at least six days a week since he was 12 (grew up on a farm), and does independant contracting now at age 68. People mistake him for 50, and he only sees a doctor once or twice a year. I only remember him getting sick two or three times in my life. There has never been a time in my life when I could really keep up with him at whatever, although one Summer I worked with him and simply giving it my all day after day made me feel a lot better.

Yes, I could go drive somewhere everytime the urge to defecate hits, but...where's the fun in that.

ya gardening and just general carpentry work takes ALOT of physical force. I remember 2 years ago me and a friend got payed to clean a garden, similar to what u said. I was thinking it would be good money and easy work. After the 4-5 hr work time i just went home and passed out. I didnt even get weed, which is the main reason i was gona do the job.

It was niceley rewarding.

WOW, i wish my dad was as healthy!
he hasn't done much but work and see doctors for years  he's really fed up with his life i think... he works pretty hard too, i honestly don't know how he still gets up for work everyday (which makes these past few months even harder on my self asteem... while i watch my dad waste away i'm just biding my time )

@moth thanks  :sun:

Thanks...I thought of several more in the past 24 hours, but I'm not up to making a mockery out of myself right now.

I know how you feel about your dad.  There was this chick at my old job who worked two jobs and BIKED EVERYWHERE.  She was always working and she had to ride the bus and bike to get everywhere she went.  She was totally ripped, had muscles from head to toe, in incredible shape and a badass employee.  I found her very inspiring, but also puzzling...how does one put 120% into EVERYTHING they do?

Me...I'm more of a 70% type of person.  If that.

And it depends on the activity.

it's a sort of a zen thing, i really had to fight the whole day not to make strainuase (SP?) faces, it was giving me a head ache! i had a hard time today but i kept reminding my self that THIS is what i need to do and there's no use to flex my worry muscles (that and breathing properly got me through the day somewhat in a better mood)

if you don't relax and accept the fact that THIS (whatever) is what's happening you can get degected with things pretty fast! you're still free to not like what you do but if you choose to do it, you better do it right!

i'm off to sleep (and it's only 12:40AM over here )

congratulations on the job! it feels great to be productive and know you are "needed" by the universe in some fashion ... it makes you really appreciate the little time you end up getting for yourself at night / on weekends more than you could have otherwise ...

keep at it, and again, good work! hope it all works out for you ...

indeed i was

i also had a reaccuring dream tonight, i can't remember it now (a few hours since i woke up) but it was very intricate and long!

so, mostly what hurts are my hands (i first noticed that when i tried jacking off and had to change position since my member was hurting my hands :smirk: *sorry, too much info i know...) and my back muscles are actualy not as bad as i assumed they would be

i'm sure i'd have had it MUCH worse if i did'nt streach and released my body!
maybe i sound like a hippie flake to some people (adjust?) but personally i can FEEL and i do often expiriance the connection betwine mind set and the body in such a way that i have no doubt these things help. i used to have head aches all the time but now since i'm aware of these things i can sense when and WHY i'm getting a head ache, then it's easy to relaxe and the pain is kept at bay!

Congratulations, bro! Glad to hear you are working and enjoying some good ole hard labor, it builds character and fills the bank account. Sucks that it is interfering with your wank session, though...
