LSD & Pink Floyd

this sunday i am going to see roger waters at the hollywood bowl. garden seats, 170 mic of LSD, and 2 friends. shall be a good night. never done lsd at a concert before though. any advice? is 160-180mics too much for a show?

I just watched a DVD of Roger Waters - In the Flesh.... Holy shitballs. The Pink Floyd stuff was awesome, but I hope they still have the same guitar guy playing. I was high as hell, and it was awesome.

When he goes into his original stuff, the acid might really kick in. It's some weird shit.

I am going to that Hollywood Bowl Dark Side of the Moon show TONIGHT!! :woot:

I don't know how LSD affects you, but if you can stay relatively still (the place should be absolutely packed) and enjoy the experience you should be golden!  Of course, the venue is rather large and you could walk around if you needed to, but inside the bowl is where the music's prime.  I'm sure LSD would offer an excellent trip as well (and in fact I find these two substances rather similar), but I am a bit partial to 2C-I personally. 

Planning myself to take a threashold dose of 12mg 2C-I, of which two of my friends will probably take higher doses around 16 - 18 mg, and a third will be abstaining.  I've not been using many substances as of late, and only want a slight edge on my experience - not be droolin' on myself and my neighboring guests during the show!  :wink:

have fun man! 2c-i is a good choice.

i can handle myself pretty easily on lsd, a lot more so than mushrooms. i'm not sure how it will be at a concert though. never tripped on lsd in public. i believe i am right in the very front of the whole stadium, 260$ tickets!

the last time i ate lsd i lost my mind, found out that everything is one and one is all, found myself, all during a little chaos with The Wall DVD being played. pink floyd took over and controlled my whole entire trip. pretty fucking hard to explain, i don't think i will ever be able to. now i get to eat lsd again and lose my mind to floyd, once again.

make sure to tell me when the concert ends because i plan on dosing at about 5-6 pm. i want to be going strong for DSOTM.

after the concert i plan on hitting whip its all night. should be fun.

Not to intentionally bolster your expectations, but I have indeed been blown away!  I'm even considering going back for another round during their close at the Bowl on Sunday evening!  These guys know how to put on a show; with a full house, great sound, a wonderful atmosphere, and a fantastic light and special effects show... not to mention some of the best tripping music ever composed!  Icing on the cake would be the temperate weather at the outdoor venue, coupled with the bright full moon backlighting the entire bowl - and some odd twists of coincidence that made the night all the more special.

im not sure if its like this at all the venues, but at the cricket pavilion they set up a kind of surround sound set up with big ass speakers behind the lawn, where i was seated.  when they got into dark side of the moon with all the weird sounding synths and what not, very bad ass.

the show started with a set about 45 minute to an hour long, playing a range of stuff from shine on you crazy diamond, a few from the wall, some of his solo stuff...

then there was about a 15-20 minute break. when they returned they played dark side of the moon in its entirety, followed by an encore presentation of about half hour, featuring some more tunes from the wall. floating pig, pyrotechnics, i mean its fucking roger waters.... the works.  :thumbup:

it will be a long time, if ever,  that  i go to a concert that left me feeling the way roger did.
