I have work in 2 hours and have a migraine.... what should I do?!

I already took 400mgs of advil and it didn't help too much. Are there any tricks or medications that work good?

Drink some coke. Take an excedrin migraine. Eat something.

get a hand towel and soak it in hot water then squeeze out water and put over your forhead till it gets cold... dont know why but thats what works for me...

My mother suffers from migraines,all she can do is lay down in bed moaning.Excedrin helps at times with migraines...give it a shot.

Call off dude.  I suffered from migraines a LOT as a kid, since the age of 6.  They're not fun and they don't just go away....they're a blinding, deafening pain in the ass and work is the last place you want one.  Unless you have a headache and you're sayin its a migraine.  Then I'd say suck it up and go :lol:

I always heard that nitrous oxide is a miracle drug for migraines, but that's second hand so I can't vouch for how well it may or may not work.

I am a migraine sufferer as well, but surprisingly enough they have improved over the years. I recommend taking advil for migrines, I do not really encourage excedrine, because it has so many negative side affects. Sometimes going into a dark room and just laying down for half an hour helps, and drink water. Also try and figure out what triggers your migraines, it can be a real pain in the ass to do this, since almost anything can. I have heard that eating dark chocolate helps (but lots of chocolate for me causes my migraines). Also talk to your doctor, they can probably prescribe something for you, which is probably going to be way better then advil or anything that you can get at the drug store. But I have heard about some people that have taken them where it just makes them totally groggie, so that would be something to investigate for sure.

Anyways, hope this helps. It's just basically trial and error, and eventually you will know what works for you
