In general pris, most people have good reactions to pot, and on average, IF, someone is going to have anxeity, its from a sativa heavy strain.

I argue that the variability of the high is a pro for marijuana. if it was just the same high everytime then it wouldn't be fun. I like getting as many different batches of weed as I can so one day I can feel energized and in a learning mood. and the next I can be couchlocked stoned.

i think the "negative" side effects (lazyness, headaches, anxiety..) are just a product of the pot your smoking. although everyone reacts differently, it is a fact that different strains and whatnot have varying levels of actives.

What hella tight didnt put in this thread is that her anxiety attacks are caused by a disease she say she has so i think her statements that pot causes anxiety were misleading.

I also never said fear is the SOLE cause of anxiety, i fell that that is jst the majority of what causes the anxiety.
But Hella gay and all the other OTD trolls feel free to misinterpret what i said and call me names.

I actually dream more intense when I'm high...but I do smoke everyday. I have gotten more involved in my school work after being on it for over 2 years. In college, I'm an active socialist, journalist, and musicians who writes papers on drug inspired topics.

This one's to all the pre-law/pre-med kids that blaze!

Yes, the the ratios are different, and thus a different effect.

If you havent noticed this, you are either not paying enough attention, or yo have only smoked one strain of pot.

I would assume the former is true. :wink:

A disease? What the fuck are you talking about? I said I had Generalized Anxiety Disorder. HAD. As in, things in my life were causing me anxiety. Now that those things are gone, I no longer have it.

If I got high during that time sometimes I could have panic attacks.

I don't have any sort of anxiety diseases, but have had panic attacks after smoking. It was not a panic attack for fear of being caught either. It was totally out of the blue and unrelated.

I've had anxiety attacks using sativa, indica and hybrids, I'm not someone
prone to anxiety attacks, have never been under the care of a shrink nor ever on
any sort of medications, I never mix drugs, the few times I've mixed alcohol
with marijuana it sped the onset of the attack and increased it's intensity,
legality has never played a role in these attacks, I've never cared about
legality because I was always in a safe place when I smoked, my home.

that that 'sinking into the couch' feeling is the onset of a panic attack

I have GAD and I can speak from personal experience that pot induces anxiety quite a bit. A lot of people stop smoking because they experience severe anxiety attacks, my oldest brother said a lot of his friends stopped cause of anxiety and my cousin hasnt smoked in a year for the same reason. Its very common and it can happen to almost anyone.
