Yea I've been to a christian concert. It was cool at the time, but if i went now, i would surely go comatose before the end of it. My last roommate was a devout christian and had bible study every week in our living room. He was a cool guy, but it was all God God God whenever he got around his christian friends. Listening to people talk about what they think their imaginary friend wants them to think and do for 3 hours once a week definately led me to drink more. Appologies to all the christians here, no offense intended, but just try to imagine how a christian discussion sounds like to an atheist.

I went to one, and cried because i felt like a horribly mean person. But then i found Jesus and my tears washed the sins away.

But yeah i went to a christian ska show back in high school. They all got on thei knees and prayed.......

As my contribution to the discussion, here's some Stryper.

Stryper used to be the forerunners of Christian rock in the late 80s, early 90s, and I read they're together again.





They derive their name from the bible quote invariably added to their logo:

Somehow this biblequote justified them going on stage playing rock music wearing brightly yellow/black striped outfits. Ah well, the Lord works in mysterious ways  :wink:

They used to make decent rock back then, all in all going to a christian rock concert might be akin to a trip to the moon in some ways, but it might definitely be something to experience, if only once, just like it would be interesting to go out in a really pink gay bar once, enter a mosh pit, or watch a classic opera being performed.
Its interesting to pick up vibes from all sorts of crowds, even if they're not yours, for open mind's sake.
