I just watched a fly commit suicide

It flew very very slowly into a somewhat trapped area near the lightbulb in my desk lamp. That damn fly knew what it was doing.

And now it's dead.

Actually there is an exception: moths. They seem to have a bit of a fascination... and apparently the reason you never see them in the daytime is that they're flying towards the sun...

What is it with shooter fans and metal? I have to admit I'm quite a fan of the new 2d vert shooters in Japan such as Espgaluda, Mushihime sama, and DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou. I fuckin love em, but I rarely like metal.

Did you know 2d shooters outsell first person shooters in Japan? Its big over there.

A 'super smolt' salmon leaped for freedom last week and hit me in the face.

edit: I should probably add that I work at a salmon farm, and super smolt is a term for dosing them with salt to make em smolt quicker. A salmon smolts when its ready to go to sea.

no. I wish I would have taped it. A smaller, baby fly attacked me this morning. I think it's the haunted child ghost of the suicidal maniac fly from beyond the window. Speaking of which, that fly just straight dissappeared after it attacked me with singed wings. I swatted, and missed, and it went away for good. Light makes flies implode.
