Iowa Hunting

Hello all, I'm welcome to be at shroomery.. looks like a great community and exactly what I needed. Okay, this weekend i'm going to be hunting in Southwest Iowa (Council Bluffs) in some woods not too far from me. There's a cornfield near the woods and the woods are have hills, and a lot of dead trees. Does anyone know any type of mushroom I should be looking for, or if there will be any mushrooms??!? Also, if you live in southwest Iowa... and could give a noob like me some help with techniques and certain places you looked it would be really helpful. Thanks
