The Falcons ship backup running back/ FB T.J Duckett to the Washington Redskins

and The skins give up 2 picks in next years draft to the Denver Bronco's

yeah i agree.. i thought lelie was a nice weapon to have.. i guess he wasnt very happy there.. and its not like rod smith is getting any younger.

they did have a rookie thou whos been looking pretty good in preseason.. something like kurkos?.. idk maybe close

washington should have a pretty stacked backfield.. i might even convert Duckett to an everydown Fullback.

Lelie wasn't going to play for the Broncos this year anyway.  He was gonna sit out.  The Broncos have Rod Smith, Javon Walker to start off with.  There have been some STANDOUTS in the preseason for us.  David Kircus and Tony Scheffler (TE) who have been outstanding.  Not to mention we got a steal with selecting Brandon Marshall, who is huge, 6'4"  220.  He's looked good at camp as well.

Getting rid of Lelie was not a tough decision and will not affect the team in anyway.  :smile:

Kircus is fast as hell, but couldn't keep his mitts on a ball if his life depended on it. I watched him play where I go to school, and he tore up the shitty competition in D2, but he needs to work on his catching if he even wants to make the team.

idk.. i saw Lelie play at Hawaii and a bit with Denver.. i thought he had the potential to be one of the better WR in the league.. Rod Smith has got to be close to retirement.. and Javon Walker= cancer.. thou it doesnt really matter.. denver is much more of a rushing team. and with the QB's they have, they will probably run a passing game similar to dallas. quick outs, slants, ect.. rely on run after the catch.. thou Cutler if given the chance to start, he can DEF air the ball out nicely

and Redstorm- have you been watching preseason? so far Kircus has been catching the ball nicely.

I've seen a few games with him this preseason and I'm not convinced. Once the real games start, he will choke. He did the same thing with the Lions when we took a chance on him.

I hope you're wrong cuz he has looked pretty good and is not a small receiver either.

ChrisCanty, how do you figure Walker is a cancer to the Broncos? I haven't seen anything bad from him yet at all. We shall see though.

idk i think Green Bay is a MUCH better team without him.. he doesnt get much publicity because hes Javon Walker.. #2 WR on most rosters, some even a #3.

but he might fit in at Denver, we'll see.. i dont personally like him

Green Bay should be decent, i really like what i see there.. with Donald Driver, Bubba Franks, and they have a rookie named Jennings who is looking AMAZING.. so we'll see

EVERYONE knows they're going to suck. Even the rabid green bay fans are just holding their breath and waiting for the NBA season to start. I dont know how anyone who knows shit about football could possibly think they're going to be even mediocre, much less good.

idk im the opposite, ive never liked GB.. but seeing what they have done in the preseason.. i like them.. they improved the defense.. got rid of walker.. picked up a rookie WR who i think will contribute immeadiately..

guess im delerious
